Places to visit | Excursions

Bikaner, at heart, is a medieval walled desert town. With its impressive forts, palaces and mansions carved from the rich pink purple sandstone, it can be deservedly called the second 'Pink City' of Rajasthan, next only to Jaipur

In spite of a fascinating mystical tale of its birth, Bikaner, even today, holds a medieval charm for the visitors. Wander off in the bazaars of the Bikaner and you would find every imaginable object from camel hair blanket, excellent dhurries and carpets to its most famous regional snacks -  bhujiya and rasgolla.

Bikaner's Junagarh Fort along with other beautiful historical palaces and mansions that tell the stories of its rich past, famous for its five jewels: Camels, Wealthy Merchants, Gold jewelry, Beautiful Women and Delicious Candies.
