Situated around the small lake, Pushkar is said to have nearly five hundred temples, large and small, dedicated to various deities and fifty two palaces, built by several Kings from all over India for their pilgrimages.

The fascinating bazaars of PushkarThe fascinating old bazaar is a maze of narrow lanes interspersed with little temples, ashrams and picturesque old homes with archways and ornate balconies. The most important of all the temples at Pushkar is the temple of Bramha, the creator god of the Hindus, only one in the whole world.
